The theory of relativity was created by Albert Einstein in 1905. It revolutionized the way that people viewed time and space. It did not, however, affect the already existing theories of time in everyday life. He create his second, The general Theory of Relativity, 10 years later in 1915.

Einsteins Special theory of relativity showed that while Newtons Laws of motion were correct, it was only until motion reached the speed of light that Einseins theory would apply.
